I HAVE GRADUTATED!

High School is OVERRR. OVAHH. It's finished! Whee! My last day of class was on Tuesday, Final day was Wednesday and it was AWESOME. Everything is done, now with only exams to go. You know, only. They onlydetermine our entire LIVES. Man, I can't think properly. Anyway, I can't be bothered typing out the past few days but to sum it up, the last 2 days have been sensational! Full of photos, awesome presents, more photos, ribbons, hugs from everyone, even more photos, singing, running up and down stairs, switching off lights, being absolute idiots in front of the entire school, screaming, bits of crying and many, many photos.

Just a few photos from the last day of high school (19.10.2005): photoz )

That night there was a Valedictory dinner, which was basically a continuation of the things that happened during the day, only in uniform. Camera flashes have blinded me.

Well! So I've finished! Everything seems totally weird because I am still hanging around the school. Like today, for example. I came in to see a teacher - yes, the pink shirt man - and aimlessly hung around for a bit. Then! Myself and [info]bubblee crashed into each other (It would be so much cooler if it was literally) and we saw Pride & Prejudice )
Speaking of movies, I also sw Little Fish and Serenity last week. If Little Fish is going to be released wherever you are, do the Australian Film Industry a favor and see it. It is remarkable and just great. It got the most horrible reviews, and my friend said it was crap, but I personally thought it was fantastic - Cate Blanchett is spectacular. As for Serenity, well, you've probably all seen that. It's rad - Love you, Simon.

What the fuck happened to ... Daniel Radcliffe?

(Oh, yeah! New iconage. Emma Watson, man. You all hate her, but I love her. Even if her eyebrows are horrid. Hahah, teen vogue)

mooding: hey, hermano!
ituning: Sufjan Stevens - They Are Night Zombies!! They Are Neighbors!! They Are Back From The Dead!!

So, crisis is kind of over. I stayed up until 4 in the morning uploading all the music I could find on my pc to my iPod. There's about 7gig of it here and I managed to shove it all on. Then, I tried to remember what CDs I ripped onto it and did that again. I think I have everything back now. I spent a while trying to fix the song names, so that's done. Now I just have to invent playlists again. That should be okay. OH, FITZ. WHAT'S WRONG. AND ONE OF YOUR EARPHONES HAS A HUGE CRACK IN THE CORD. WHAT IS UP, MATE? I wonder if I could claim a new set of earphones with my warranty? Or maybe a new ipod ... those new coloured screen ones. NO, IT'S OKAY. SORRY, FITZ.

Anyway, today was okay-ish. My final year of high-school is almost over so it's time to grow up, get out and about, and look for a university to attend next year! Exciting stuff, man. Well, every Sunday, since last, last Sunday, different universities in Victoria are having Open Days and today was the RMIT open day so I went along to that. It was pretty cool. I attended info sessions of the course I wanted to take and I wandered around the different buildings. I got to meet the awesome dudes from The Hoist at SYN FM, which was a dream come true, and they gave me a free lollypop. I talked to a few lecturers and one wacky professor who was wearing a brown bow-tie. Then! I met up with Travis, who was one of my friends at the Folio Preperation Course I did for Fine Art. That was cool. That's it, really. I was going to guy this nice bag I found but I blew most of my money at this awesome lollystore where I bought a gigantic bag of boiled lollies. GO BIANCA!

Check it out. Last week (or so) was my area's hard-rubbish collection so people started chucking out old stuff they had onto their nature strips. It's apparently illegal to go scavenging through other people's stuff but I was all like, "Screw you, man", because that's really what hard rubbish collection is all about (not really, but, you know). Besides, it's kind of sad that the whole thought of "someone's trash is another man's treasure" doesn't exist anymore. Anyway, I was walking home from school one day and I found THIS BEAUTY!

more! )

It is absolutely beautiful. And it still works! Yes! It still has the two-toned ink ribbon in it and everything! It's the best find EVER.

... great. FTP Explorer is now telling me that I only have a 15 day trial. This didn't happen before. I've had FTP Exploer for 2 years! Why is everything on this computer retarded! My iBook never gives me these problems. MACS RULE.
