Sweet jesus it has been a while. I don't know what has compelled me to start writing in this thing again. Perhaps it is because I have just finished reading Deathly Hallows for the second time (only!) and Harry Potter is making me feel all nostalgic n' shit of older times of when I used to write this blog and cry at the end of each harry potter book, which i did last night, BOY DID I CRY.

Theres a picture of my first solo art exhibition, which finished up a week or so ago. I sold one piece! But it was J who bought it so I don't know if that counts? ahahaha! The exhibit was a prize from last year's end of year graduate show at uni, and it was held mid June til a week ago at the Firestation print studio and gallery in Armadale, which is about 20 mins from my house. It's an amazing studio and gallery space, and the resident artists are fabulous. Opening night was great, all my beautiful family and friends were there, eating all the cheese and drinking all the wine me and my mum bought, and even one of my favourite customers from my work came, which was hilarious and awkward, bahahaha.

At the moment I am on uni holidays, working a few days a week and pretty much sleeping and eating and listening to bad bad music and watching Dr. Phil and THE HILLS the other days, or I'm hanging out and loving J. I've got one more semester of crappy uni left (finishing off my arts components, finished the fun fine arts last year sadly) and I have successfully chosen the most bizarre assortment of subjects that I have no interest in, really. SCIENCE FICTION: FROM MONSTERS TO CYBORGS??? Looks kind of fun but I'm pretty sure I'm going to start snoozing and complaining and whinging to anyone I can 10 mins into the first lecture. Actually, I dont know when I go back to uni. Really might want to check that shit out.

Blogging seems to be fun, but I am usually on facey facebook most of the time, stalking the drugged-up and/or impregnated folk from my high school.

Ok so I refused to read the epilogue of sheer fail because that pretty much ruined the ENTIRE book for me last time. Now my memory of the book is good, happy things, filled with luna lovegoods, and less albus severus's ahahhaahahhhahahha GODDD.

Anyway, Marvolo Gaunt claimed he was descendant of the Prevell Brothers, right, because thats where the Stone in Slytherin's ring came from. Dumbledore then explains to Harry that he is descendant of Ignotous (??) Prevell, the bloke with the cloak, buried in Godric's Hollow, so, is Harry distantly related to Slytherin/Gaunt/Riddle/Voldz? YES? Cos it's seriously bothering me.

Haha, thats all really. Also, anyone manage to get a hold of the complete Draco series by Cassandra Claire before it disappeared? I know she's been releasing books (man, going really well at my work!) and publishers have gone all crazy bitch on her fanfic, but it just occurred to me that I never finished them. AND FOR SOME REASON NEED SOME FANFICTION, I DONT KNOW..

Easter eggs are hands down the best food in the entire universe. Giant melting chocolate bunnies come very close. I am going to stock up this year. Gonna go to the supermarket now, espesh now that they are on SALE, gonna buy everything egg and rabbit shaped. Its going to rock my world. And possibly yours in the process.

This easter has never been so fattening and drunken-ing. Ive eaten my weight in chocolate and washed it down with some cool booze at random parties and places, refreshing. And my boobs this time of year are incredibly huge so bra shopping was a bad idea. Been watching The OC a lot, J gave me all four fucking seasons on dvd for valentines, husband material he is. Season two blows a considerable amount, but season one .... whoa man, Oliver was the biggest stud and sexy asshole in TV, apart from maybe Marco in Neighbours, which I have also been sadly catching up on. Also watched this awesome mini series from the ABC called 'Marking Time'. Loved it to bits.

Uni has been ok. Kiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiind of skipped all of last week 'cause I had better things to do. Like stress about my car, which decided to break down in peak hour traffic. As well as max my credit card at the threadless.com sale and contemplate about buying that miu miu bag on ebay. And those Ed Hardy sunnies that would LOOK SO HOT ON ME. Oh and I was also 'recovering' from my dirty weekend away with the boyfran for his bday in Daylesford, gay capital of Victoria, which ruled! Did we buy that $500 full knight armour when we went Antique shopping? We may or may have not. So, so far = done no art at uni (which is... bad...), probably behind in 2455860807 readings for history and fuck wuthering heights was a great book, truly guys, I felt so awesome about myself when I finished it.

So now its holidays for a week, time to do nothing (again?). Bought some new books, starting with the new Geraldine Brooks (PERSONALLY SIGNED!) so I will toodle off and read that. Also have an uncorrected proof of the new Stephanie Meyer so I know you must be all jealous as hell. Its so shitty and trashy and awful and LAME. But good for ya.

Also, need to buy a new camera, dropping mine 4 times isnt such a good idea, its pretty much falling apart. Given up on wasting money on a kickin digital SLR as all I will do is take drunk facebook photos of myself and my friends SO Im thinking the Canon IXUS70. Yeah, nahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh?

ps. me and my lovebunny (ahahah) watched step up 1 and step up 2: THE STREETS this weekend (FO' FREE, THANK GOD) and maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan, what the hell was that shit. Though, can't stop talkin in gangsta lingo as well as singing THAT song 'shawty had them apple bottom jeans, boots with the fur...' etc. If someone could tell me what 'Apple Bottom Jeans' are, my life would be easier.

i'm outtie.

<lj:music>Anyone Else But You - Ellen Page and Michael Cera</lj:music>

Happy 2008? It's been a while mates. Spent New Years in the Philippines with billions of familia, NYE was spent playing with homemade fireworks, and usually theres a fucking dumb tradition where people tend to blow their hands off with fireworks, but not this time, it was just really LOUD. I got pretty sick on oh-one-oh-eight because I drank too much and ate too little and what I did eat I was allergic too so really I spent the night with my head over the toilet, feeling sorry for myself because if my precious J was with me in this Third World he would be holding my hair back and telling me how beautiful I am even though I would have vomited all over his shoes.

I spent 2 weeks in the 'Philz', while my mum and my brother (thumbs up man) spent three and a bit. I came back to MY HOOD a few weeks ago and it was good to be home, to feel clean toilets, so see toilet paper, to not have people try to sell you live eels along the road. Fabulous. I did enjoy it, but really only when we got out of the disgusting, traffic filled, hussy walking cities, and ventured into the country-ish parts, like Baguio (photoz!) and Bicol etc.

What else... Australian Open has been very exciting! Tsonga is amazing and I feel so sorry for RogerDodger. Anyway, so J taught me how to score properly (after like 3 years of watching it and guessing all the way) so I've been loving it. Andy Roddick SWEATS LIKE A NOTHING IVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE, JESUS CHRIST.

Other then that, I've been waiting for uni to start up again, even though art = not happening at the moment, as well as working, and lately I've seen a movie everyday for the past three days. Gettin' ready for the Oscars. Saw Cloverfield, Sweeny Todd, and Juno. Awesome. Espesh Juno. Ellen Page rocks all kinds of effing socks and Michael Cera/George Michael, I want to run away with you. Please tell me P.S I Love You isn't in the running for the oscars because I really don't want to sit through that swank fest.

Sweenz Todd was orright. I think the singing put people off who didn't know it was a musical because people were just leaving the theatre after the first 5 minutes. Depp will always be sexy and man Bonham Carter is the shiz. If my neck was ever sliced, I'd like my blood to be that dramatic.
Cloverfield, man, AWESOME. I loved it. Particularly The Exploding of Janice Ian. So I said, Janice, I think you're a lesbian! I mean I couldn't invite a lesbian to my pool party. And that Rob guy was pretty hot. Though, rescuing wonderfully tanned chick = dumbest ever.

Managed to get J addicted to Gossip Girl and now we cant live without it. I can't live, if living is without you. You love it.

you know you love me xoxo

ps. HOTTEST 100. Who partied with me? And MUSE.....!!!! I was so glad it wasn't Soko 'ill kill her' song because I - CANT - STAND - IT.

Randomly, Maddy McCann news is so boring, guys, seriously.

RIGHT well I've totally finished 2nd year Uni ALIVE and it can shove it. Handed in my folio and it's badly-bound handmade book glory, as well as handed in my poorly written essay a week late. The lady at the Art and Design office said "Oh... isn't that late?" and I'm like, "YOU BET IT IS!". Though my essay does have killer footnotes. Forty-Seven of them. So appreciate THAT.
Now, I am progressively doing nothing beneficial at all, which is awesome. I've joined a gym (AHAHAH I KNOW) because I want to get fit, or look hot, but really I just want to look hot, and I'm working every now and then - terrorising customers with my lies and rude service. Today I was actually AN HOUR AND A HALF late for my shift because I wasn't aware that I was starting at 9, instead of my usual 12 - 5 shift, goddamnit.

I am ADDICTED LIKE A CRACK WHORE to Gossip Girl, which I have been watching since about yesterday and I am totally up to date already. Episode 7 doesn't air til the 7th of Nov in the US apparently, so I am waiting out for that. I love it. I love the hunk of flesh that is Dan. And how Serena manages to look good in everything. I do hope we see Dan shirtless soon, so I can move on from HOT HOT HOT BEN COUSINS. Gossip Girl. Its like THE OC all over again, only this time, it's ALREADY so bad and that is why I love it. I have no interest in reading the books, which appear every so often in our Young Adult section, I just want this visual trash. Plus, Gossip Girl herself sounds like a bit of a tool so I'd rather not read her narration in large chunks.

I really wish I was going to JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE tonight, lolz lolz, really I do. He's got me lovestoned and i think that he knows.

ITS ME AND J'S 2 YEAR ANNIVERSARY soon! We're going away for the weekend to some mystery spot he wont tell me about. I have no idea what to give him, any ideas? I'm thinking christmas hamper. Or possibly christmas ham. I'm getting hungry. Let's party.

Hello Herro, haven't updated since like July and I've been meaning to. Well, I've been around, but mainly reading melbournemaniacs and ONTD. Need my daily Melbourne dunderheads who need to find a bar of chocolate and those ever-exciting updates on Britney Spears's vagina.
Second year of uni is almost finished and I can't wait til it does because this semester has sucked serious balls. Its all a serious case of 'cannot be arsed' syndrome and all I want to do is eat dounuts and watch Scrubs. But yeah can't wait til I hand in my last essay and just chuck out my folio, which has been complete garbage lately. Whatevs. Do you think it's healthy for me to PLAN to hand in my essay a week late? I don't think it is... well, it's due next week, but I havent started, let alone picked a topic. And I can't be fucked going to the library because I already know that there are no books left, because of all those amazingly organised people who take the books I need. Ahhaha I'm so fucking lazy.

So I'm 20 now. Turned the big 2-0 last month and that was very exciting. Me and J went away for the weekend to the gorgeous coastal town of Sorrento, a few miles out of dodgy dodge frankston. Anyway it was really lovely and we spent a lot of our time eating pizza for dinner, watching 'love my way' and having sex. Pretty awesome. There is also the sweetest bookstore there and the most gorgeous jewelery store! We got lost on the way because of my abysmal navigation skills and j's map from 1988. '88!

I'm reading lots and lots of Matthew Reilly at the moment, as well as listening to lots and lots of new Radiohead. You should too!

<lj:music>harry and the potters - voldemort cant stop the rock</lj:music>

happier post time...

ALBUS SEVERUS

WHAT THE HELL MAN

ok so i havent been bothered to access the internet til now and ive read everyones reviews and they have been wonderful! So i got jealous and i will now write my own. AND NOT USE A LJ-CUT FEAR MY WRATH.

But really i am kidding. I finished the book sunday night cos i was DEAD from serving ALL OF YOU GUYS who were at the launch and then i had to WORK all day sunday and people are just as mad. I was so scared that some moron was going to come in a yell out the ending to me and I thought that I would indeed have to murder them. But no, it was ok. I spent most of Sunday wanting to go home and read read read but no, i had to deal with all the pre-orders that were a a bit stuffed up on the launch. Tedious, shitty, etc etc.

SO, JRK NEEDS TO EXPLAIN THIS WHOLE EPILOGUE FIASCO. It was so fucking awful, sappy, corny, cheeseball-eque and just really, really, really bad. I cannot get over it, EVER. If I re-read this book, I will NOT be opening page 603. Lets see, where to start. Harry and Ginny, well, I don't really like them together, but you know, whatever, but I really didnt think they were moronic enough to name ALL THEIR OFFSPRING after awesomez people who have died. I mean REALLY. Harry isn't the type, and Ginny, well established backbone and all, I thought would have STRONGLY opposed BOTH of harrys parents in there. Apart from Albus Severus being the worst name in wizarding history, having James AND Lily there, all cutesy and related is just bad taste. Also, why not name one FRED, ginny, I ask you this, as a true Weasley supporter. Poor, poor kids. And Ron/Hermione, Rose and Hugo. Bucket please. Let us also laugh at Scorpius and Malfoys evidently receeding hairline. Anyway, epilogue was shit, rushed and so un-jkr.

But apart from that, I enjoyed the book immensely. I thought it was a wonderful conclusion and did tie up a lot of things. Lets shove in random thoughts ya?
- Harry, Ron, and Hermione on the run! Exciting stuff man. I did like them running around, setting up tents and apparating like no tomorrow, but I did find the endless narrative of them not doing anything and Harry just thinking rubbish, a bit tedious. Like when Ron left and Hermione was just sobbing on and on and Harry was just watching her, I was SO GLAD they decided to get over it and go to Godric's Hollow, which was EXCITING! I thought it was cute when Harry visited the graves, and man the statue of the Potters! And Batty Bathilda!

- God that ordeal at the Ministry with the three of them I found to be confusing and I didnt know where they were half the time, like when they attacked Mafalda and Runcorn and Reg, NO IDEA where they were at the start and had to read passages over and over to understand. I did like the idea of the ministry being infiltrated and everything being a bit complicated. LOVED the idea of saying Voldy's name as a taboo. Brilliant. As well as the blood status and muggle born registrar. And strange underground movements of Snatchers and stuff! GREAT. Ahahah Magic is Might. So very ... Nazi. Though you could say in GOF (esp. movie), with that banner of Fudge, he looked very Hitler. AND LUPIN in the movied looking like hitler? Ok must stop this discussion now.

-the RETURN OF DOLORES UMBRIDGE, i thought was great, though her being really desperate to get the locket from mundungus i thought would have a bigger role, like her being under imperius or working with voldy. I didnt think she'd just want it cos she's supposedly related to a pureblood line. she is so much evil-er than that! i must not tell lies, woman!! speaking of characters returning, was i the only one disappointed to not see gilderoy lockhart? yes?

- dumbledore backstory boo yah! loved loved loved it to itty bitty pieces! i loved seeing ust how human he was. his realtionship with grindlewald (who i never thought would ever be mentioned again) and ABDERFORTH AND HIS GOATS.

- ginny giving harry a kiss for his birthday and harry pining over her every second he has. vomit. this ron/hermione, harry/ginny, happy families thing is stupid. maybe because i'm a harry/hermione shipper at heart and i would like to see THAT relationship rip everything apart. oh well, theres always that hot affair they can have in 8 years, when harry breaks down and has a midlife crisis because of his poorly named children and buys a porsche.

- "saint like," repeated george..."you see... i'm holy. HOLEY, fred, geddit".

- deathly hallows was a very interesting concept. also interesting was how we didnt know anything about them till the middle of the book. the whole wand and rightful owner and death business was a bit confusing. i mean, if people died over it and were killed for it, how would that person know who would kill them and thus allow the wand know who its next ownder would be. i most likely missed something, didnt i? damn it. must re-read. INTERESTING about the invisibility cloak. i thought there was more than one - ron saying 'they're really rare' is PS, wouldnt that mean there ARE more, but just ...rare. or maybe he was talking about those IMITATION ones that are just charmed. ahaha like LV handbags.

- ok, lets talk about horcruxes. it took them FUCKING YEARS to get the locket back and destroy it, and yet not too much time to find the goblet and the diadem, did anyone elese find that strange? narratve about them wearing the locket, it beating, and ron destroying it went on and on, but it wasnt the same with the goblet and the diadem. also, no cool riddlesque figures floating about and taunting people emerging from the cup! and the diadem! UNCOOL. crabbe and goyle destroying it by accident? straaange. (and crabbe and goyle cant be THAT DUMB and not be able to string words together? how would they pass their OWLS?)

- lovegoods! LUNAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. i missed her thoroughly. her dad is just as crazy. GREAT. oh man when harry saw the painting in her room of 'friendssss', that was just so lovely and so Luna. Their house just sounds so amazing and I would very much like to visit!!

- i do indeed love the malfoys. i love how narcissa hoped harry was alive after the duel and whispers 'Is draco alive? is he in the castle'. i love how she would throw everything away for her son. i love how draco was pretending he didnt know if harry was harry or if hermione was hermione when they were trapped in the manor. i love how hopeful lucius is in the first chapter. MALFOYZ. i did miss the snarkastic draco though 'if you were any slower, crabbe, you'd be going backwards'.

- ahahahah 'IF WE DIE FOR THEM, ILL KILL YOU HARRY', roonil wazlib is my hero, really. he's the most real out of all of them and his storm out made me cry. i think the book he gave harry for his birthday was super fantastic!

- fleur is so fucking annoying. i cant stand her at all. and i thought bill would be more werewolfey and like totally uncontrollable and things. but nooo theyre living in a cottage by the see that is total bliss.

- the battle for hogwarts and so on. i was so excited! i thought the battle would be held on a larger scale though, with all that 'recruiting' that was going on on ootp, i dont know, maybe i expected something MASSIVE LIKE IN LOTR battle on pelennor fields or something. but then i remembered HP is for kiddies and they were at hogwarts, and not a fucking city state. ANYWAY, i loved how the last scenes were held on the grounds we know so well and how the DA returned. fred, tonks and REMUS J LUPIN, depressing!. especially when percy came back and how he was covering freds body. oh goodness, devastated and yet elated by percy ignatius weasley. speaking of people dying, hedwig and dobby! maaaaaaaaaan!

- ok the part where i was REALLY REALLY crying was when james, lily, sirius and remus came out of the ring. JESUS CHRIST. and how they were walking with him while he was preparing to die and when he said 'you'll stay with me?' and when he said 'stay close to me' to his mum. oh man, i was crying so hard i couldnt see the rest of the words.

- harry dying and being at kings cross, naked with dumbledore, sounds weird now definately but i was happy to see dumbledore again and EXPLAIN everything.

- i thought the final battle was wonderful. harry really emulated something like dumbledore at this point, like a wiser man, from everything he has learnt and you can finally see why dumbledore had so much faith in him. i love how dumbledore told the order to trust harry and how in HBP dumbledore said he feels safe with harry.

- Snape, snape, severus snape. Best chapter in the world ever. We always knew Snape wasn't a complete bastard, just a BADLY TORTURED SOUL. I always had an inkling about the Snape/Lily love, and I completely adored the muggle world scenes between them when they were younger, even if he was a bit of a stalker weirdo. Ahahah 'Tuney'. Though, I would have loved to hear more about how James and Lily actually fell in love. Harry knows what I'm sayin'.

OK MUST STOP NOW BEFORE I GO ON ABOUT THE EPILOGUE AGAIN.

... didnt jkr go on about the last word being 'scar'? or was that for one of the previous books? cos i aint see nothin in OOTP or HBP....

hahahhaa i have uni all day tomorrow and i have not done anything ever ever ever. i reckon ill just skip this whole week. uni has been a fucking load of garbarge. i hate pretty much every subject i am doing and see no point in attending when i just sit there and attempt to not fall asleep anyway. ah whatever. think i'll defer next year and just sulk around. whatever dudes happy post remember.

oh! me and mum bought a new car today. mazda astina sp20. yay!

If it weren't for pushy friends, and my stupid belief that it's probably the right thing to do, I would fucking do it. I would fucking do it in the rain and howling wind.

My dad passed away on the 4th of July after years of an illness, and 2 weeks of excruciating pain.
He was only 52 and passed away silently with my mum sitting next to him and at 7.45 in the morning.

So the viewing and funeral were held last week and it was frustrating and annoying because the phone wouldn't stop ringing and people wouldn't leave us the fuck alone.
OH HEY. I love how i stress out about essays i still havent started and still have time to update. Thought I'd drop a line. Whatever!

Anyway, YES the semester is OVER but I still have stuff due. This last essay (which is bullshit) is due friday and my entire folio is due next tuesday. Then I get a month off and life is sweet. I have made immediate plans to go shopping right after I submit my folio because I have not bought anything new for AGES, apart from fucking petrol and FOOD which I hate so much now! To the extent that I bought a $2.20 bottle of water and paid for it in 5 cent coins. This was yesterday during my feeble attempts to research this bullshit essay at the State Library. If YOU were there yesterday, I HATE you. Stupid school kids and their mid-terms. Stealing my chair. EXTREME RAYS OF HATE COMING FROM MY EYES.
SO yes I'm going shopping! Because I feel like a bit of a dag in the same clothes and J bought A RESERVE($102 HOW SWEET IS HE) tickets to Miss Saigon next saturday and I need new shoes. and a new cardi. My boy deserves that much I think.

speaking of boys, PENNY IF YOU STILL READ THIS I HAVE BEEN CONVERSING WITH KEITHHEATH A LOT LATELY and he is gorrrrrgeous and is pretty much hung over EVERY FREAKING DAY. I think this is relevant information of high importance.

Right so I'm pretty bitter right now and I'm sick of my friends page and ONTD because Rihanna is such an annoying fugly slut! And whats with the sudden shit poetry appearing everywhere! SIR GAWAIN INCLUDED, THE BASTARD.

My plan was to PLAN out this essay and write an introduction. Well, I have a plan. and I'm half way through typing up the QUESTION in a word document. good one.

so how excited am i for TRANSFORMERS? VERY and I am not kidding.

Stuuuufff!

I found time! Time to update! Rejoice! Yeah so uni started. It kinda blows but it's slowly getting better. Printmedia is lots of fun. I knew nothing about it but learning the techniques is really lovely and dry point etching rulz. Drawing was my life and with printmedia, the processes involved sort of give my drawings a sense of completion. Like, they turn out to be prints, not just pencil doodles that are always criticized for being just drawings, I don’t know, I guess I just find this really fascinating. Right now I'm doing a few lino cuts, which seem so primary school, but upon looking at my lecturer's work, and her dealings with beautiful linos, I can see that they can be so much more than some chunky mess. Plus, the time and effort I put into carving is very therapeutic. One of my all time favourite artists, Mike Parr (oh, marry me you one armed charming man) always blew me away with his drawings, but his smaller etchings are superb. Tops.

fig. 1

I've been sick for the past few days. Started with the sore throat, now i'm aching and sore and blocked up everywhere. And it's phlegmy and gross. Lovely. It started last Sunday, then got so bad on Tuesday when I had uni. I attended 2 classes then felt dizzy and out of it so I got the hell out of there and into my glorious bed. I'm on some sweet sweet meds, apple juice, and endless amounts of Scrubs. All day, everyday, for the past 2 days. It is AWESOME. I love Scrubs so much. I want to marry it and raise a family of little Scrubs. Oh, chicken salaaaaaad. Ahhaha I've also been watching this awful show called 'Trading Spouses'. wtf man. what the fuck.

DAMNIT I just remembered my library books were due 3 days ago. Boo-urns!

Anyway, it was J's 21st last weekend it and was radical. It was his birthday last Wednesday so before I went to my excursion to the Prints room at the National Gallery, I zipped around to his house and made him breakfast. And bought 6 party hats for the 2 of us. I gave him his gift, which took me an unnaturally long time to find - a tennis racquet. But not just any racquet, no sir-ee, ROGER FEDERERERER'S exact racquet he used on tour at the Australian Open. Or uses all the time, I don't know, but WHATEVER, it's the Wilson N-series, with this and that and other doo-hickeys. It's hot as. J loooooooooves Federer to the max and because a signed plaque of the fed was going to cost me a bazillion $$$, I bought him the racquet, which was only a zillion $$$, score. On Saturday was the big party slash dinner thing and it was so fun. He made a speech, I cried, I bought this amazing dress from Decjuba, it was great. Fergalicious, even.

Today was FRUSTRATING. I decided to go into the city and gallery it up on Flinders La (and goodness, the Until Never Gallery - off Hosier La - has the most gorgeous exhibition. I was actually thinking of buying a print from it. Think I'll email em. Recommended! They usually have heaps of street artists exhibiting, but these ones are amazing). ANYWAY so I exhibition hopped for a few hours and then it just got too hot and I had work at 5 anyway. I got to my platform and for some reason there were NO TRAIN services happening on my line. My car was parked at uni (Caulfield) so I didnt really have far to go. Pissed off. Announcement told all passengers to board a Sandringham line, then get off at Windsor station, and then a bus service would operate. Still pissed off. It was already about 2.30 and I had to still drive home, EAT, get dressed and go to work. Anyway, friggen train finally got to Windsor after AGES and then we all proceeded to wait in the EXTREME HEAT for a friggen bus to come, which was still packed ans sweaty and disgusting. And of course, there are never enough buses. Bus driver was so annoyed with the amount of passengers that he was driving like a loon and almost crashed into the side of a bridge. Fun times. I ran off the bus, then raced home in my melting car, ate good old mcdonalds for lunch and then felt like throwing up. God, I hate trains. and buses. Since I got my license, this is one of the few times I have used the train recently and maaaaaaaaaaan... crap happens. Oh, and on the way to the city, this guy standing across from me vomits all over the door. Cool life!

Awesome, no work tomorrow and I'm seeing my boyfriend! I'm pretty happy!

It was amazing to see my little IT geek at work and I could tell that he was loving every minute of it, even if it constantly frustrated him.
ahoy-

Im still about. Krazy britney spears made me come back to LJ because I really wanted to see ONTD (god im cool) and now i'm drooling over Scarlett Johansson again and thinking about going for a jog so i can lose weight, keep my boobs, and look just like her.

Ive been thinking too much lately, spending too much time alone, watching cable and listening to the bustle of hospital wards. My dad just had a procedure done and it didnt go too well so on my days off I've been sitting there, watching him sleep, wince in pain, and i think about how my mum will cope, how bleak our future is, how goddamn awful things are for my family and even extended family, how much weight i am gaining from eating doughnuts and coffee, how much money i am wasting on doughnuts and coffee, how rude and awful nurses are, how we will keep the house if my dad stops working, how i will ever move out if my parents need me, how much i miss my friends, how much i miss my boyfriend, how i will ever be able to feel truly happy again, how i will be able to deal with uni, why i'm not ready for uni- and theres just so much crap swimming in my head that its just so hard to explain to people whats wrong. Since I got my license i have been driving around fucking everywhere. Every morning I am inner city driving in peakhour because I have to take my mum to work. She fractured her ankle, right. I've been driving back and forth to hospitals and all sorts of places that I am just sick of it. Sometimes, I care so less about my safetly that I run on an empty tank, scratch every corner of the car on absolutely everything, and speed so fast that i lose control when i turn a corner. And then I say, wait, i can't die yet, because I have to pick up my brother from school. 2006 was a shitty year and this one isn't looking so great. I thought it would get better by march but all sorts of shit is making this year feel like torture. I'm trying to have some sort of life as well as tend to my family as much as i can but its just not working. I'm so worried and stressed all the time that I end up having a crappy time when I go out. Last night I spent the night in with J at his house and it was lovely, but then it got bad towards the end. We ending up falling asleep and I got angry that he didnt wake me and now I feel awful and my mum's not talking to me because I got home so late.

I feel so lonely that I'm starting to get angry with myself for being suck a screw up. I'm surrounded with beautiful people but they all have their own lives and I dont like burdening myself upon them. When I'm not with them I want to be with them, but when I actually am, I want to be left alone.

I've been re-thinking my career, last year and the years before that, i was so focused on art, now, my priorities have turned into paying my bills and working as many shifts as i can. I thought my art was everything, and right now im so fucking depressed that it's not. I feel like im wasting my talent and yet at the same time i dont care. I have not done one single creative thing for the last 4 months, apart from the odd angry sketches in my moleskine at the hospital. Would I be happy working some 9-5 job instead of uni? I dont know. Would i be happy studying at uni instead of working? I dont know.

and now, at this very moment, on top of all that, i am having health issues. i've been having pains everywhere for the last few weeks and i have no idea whats wrong with me. and im having self esteem issues as well. body image and all that, fucking hell. thinking of joining a gym but then i think that i have NO TIME and NO MONEY.

oh, and last night i watched The Notebook with J. God it's awful, whats wrong with you people.

HEY PARTY PEOPLE! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! and hope your christmases were white and such! Really, i hope you all had fantastic times with your families and friends during the holiday season. Holla at me if you didn't because christmas cheer still exists in my life in the form of a 'joy to the world' ringtone, which has indeed been ringing all year. Let earth recieve her king and all that. Wel,l my christmas was pretty fab. me and the family were out at my cousin's house til about 4am so our xmas day was spent sleeping in til about 1pm, wearily getting up and opening gifts and eating some roast pork which my dad made (and it was GREAT). Some kool kats were over on xmas eve at our place (while I had WORK) so we just have all this food left over which is now rotting quite nicely thank ye. Xmas night was spent with my love and his family. Mmmm, awkward. How I make things awkward all the time is really beyond me. That's just how I roll. But the food was great. I love christmas food so much, ha ha!

Because I really have nothing to take photos of (apart from my ugly mug), here is some of my christmas haul:

It is all so sweeeeeeeeeeeet. Chanel No. 5 from the parental units (I LOVE THE RIBBON), Elizabeth Arden perfume, a super sweet Parker pen, FOOT STUFF from my manager, a cute monkey thing (came with a me to you bear keyring) from my KK, and from my beloved I recieved a set of Peter Alexander pjs and CROWDED HOUSE FAREWELL TO THE WORLD DVDDVDDVDDVDDVD.

Before it all I went crazy christmas shopping at Chadstone when they did the CRAZY 24HR shopping crap. It was INSANE but my and J had fun running around. He loves shopping with me because I am just so RUDE. There were loser people everywhere (us included) and I'm just "MOVE!!!" or "EXCUSE ME... JESUS...!!" in the crowds. I managed to get it all done over 2 days or so. I got J a Country Road bag he always bangs on about, as well as Superman Returns on dvd in a special tin super duper case, oh and these strange LOVE CHEQUES I found at work. For mum, I was going to get her Revlon makeup but she said I would get all the colours wrong, so I got her a $100 voucher for Myer. Dad, I got him a Crumpler which took me YEARS to find, and for my bro, I got him a super cool hat to complete his jazz-musiciany look, and a Ben Sherman shirt, which either has a print of a guy with a saxophone, or something weird and ...weirder.

New Years was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo great. I'm so beat. I managed to dance the night away, get kicked off a tram, and get pretty trashed, so it was tops. Me and J stayed at a hotel and we managed to convince bitchface desk lady to let us have a late late check out. Tram incident was hilarious.

Gosh I'm tired. Alias time. Then BED.

HELLO 2007. gon' screw up my dates again. I'm still writing _/_/99 ya know.

I am getting so fat and i think it's because i don't walk anymore. WHY WALK WHEN YOU CAN DRIVE? VROOOOOOOOOOMZ. Driving is the best fun ever and even though i have scratched the car on the damn dirty garage about 70 times already (what, it's been like, a MONTH?), i don’t give a shit! cos i drive hard and ... violently. I deserve a bigger car because then i will look like a hot bitch, but at the same time, i like my little green pulsar and having to only spend $35 on a full tank of petrol. celebrate good times come on!

What have i been doing? Well, what have YOU been doing? I've been living at work and even though it's mostly fun and cha-ching-pay-off-my-credit-card, you go a little crazy after a while and it's just books books books bastard customers books books where has the god delusion gone? books books. I highly recommend The Memory Keeper's Daughter by Kim Edwards, as I am reading it in my lunch break. It's a bit slow, though, and I really want to finish it so I can dig my teeth into some angsty young adult crap. AND CAPTAIN UNDERPANTS. I've seen a few of them in the last few weeks (we all live in ridiculous suburbs...) and one of them actually went off to AMERICA last Thursday, so before she left we went to bah-righhhhton beach and ate some sweet artery clogging fast food.

why is tonight's episode of futurama a repeat? why!

On Saturday I took the boyfriend to my best friend's 19th birthday at the khokolat bar in town. so it was rn'b night and the music further proved that the genre of rn'b stops at 1999, but it was fun! we sort of showed up 2 and a half hours late, but nevertheless, it was lovely seeing my best friend after a while and she was WASTED. IT WAS GREAT. She looked smokin', probably the most attractive in the entire bar because it was a WEIRD AND RANDOM CROWD, MAN. I was dead by the next morning because I had to go to work, celebrate GOOD TIMES COME ON. J also come over to play yesterday and he was wearing a SUPER CUTE Limedrop cardigan from the fashion incubator in melb central. I loved it, but I don't think J likes it very much so he wants to return it and get $$$$$ back, uncool! I'LL WEAR IT. anyway, i wont lie, he's totally hot.

UM... i bought a top from Bardot today. That shop is rubbish, but the top is cute! AND I bought the hottest shoes in the UNIVERSE last Saturday. they were on SALE too. joy joy joy joy down in my heart. they hurt like A BITCH but they were the LAST PAIR left and i think they are half a size too small for me but they are incredibly sexy and THAT'S ALL THAT MATTERS. because I am a loony who likes to live in agony.

hot!

i'm going to watch the oc now and stab my eyes out later.
OH GOD THIS WEATHER.

J and myself at Oaks Day (part of Melbourne's Spring Racing Carnival - er, think horses and dresses and drunk people and shit).

I caved in and bought a pair of THOSE GLASSES THAT I HAD BEEN LOOKING FOR FOR 3 YEARS from Sportsgirl. But aren't they the cutest? Think so! Kubrick's Lolita rocks me hard. Anyway so that whole ordeal was on Tuesday and it was so fun! It happens every year but this was the first time I went because I actually had a reason. I went with J and his friend (Chris) as well as Chris's girlfriend. I kick so much ass because NO ONE had the same dress as me. I sat there on the picnic rug and just kept seeing lovely ladies wearing the same clothing ... and guys wearing the same Ray Ban aviators. But no one else had my dress, which was AWESOME. It was this strapless baby blue checked thing with pockets in the skirt. I bought it from this fantastic store in Little Collins that houses all these young Australian designers - Harlow & Jean. That store is shit hot. And they were playing The Presets, but then again almost every store I went into was. HIP TO THE HOP. I wore the same shoes I wore to my shitty formal and matched other stuff with the red bows on my heels. I looked kind of retarded because I can't walk in heels properly (woohoo flats 4 lyf) and I looked extra classy when I had to pull up my bra and top every 4 minutes. On the plus side, my dress made my boobs look smaller so I wasn't knocking people out for a change. Super duper! We had a picnic and drank fucking expensive champagne, I saw several slut bags from my high school (as well as some of my non-slut-baggy friends), and J was looking incredible and was wearing SABA, so it was fantastic!! omg omg omgzz.

Ok so I really have been doing nothing. I feel like I've been gaining weight by spending my days sleeping until, like, 2 and eating endless amounts of ice cream and mangoes. Gosh I love mangoes. I'm not working as much as I would have liked to be, which sucks because I am always low on cash, but is also ok because I do love sitting in the backyard and tanning up my legs and watching the ants. Can't forget those midday movies, also, GOD THEY'RE GOOD. and OPRAH.

Anyway today at work this guy came in and was trying to return these two books and get cash back for them. He didn’t have a receipt and neither of them scanned into our system so we never had them in our store ever. He kept insisting that he bought them and never read them, even though one was damaged slightly. Anyway, my boss had this huge argument with him and the guy was so fucking dodgy and sweating and rambling. It was freaking me out because this guy was fucking nuts. Well, he eventually realised that he was a tool and skipped away.

Right, I've stared at this for hours. I got nothing. Gonna watch what’s left of Van Helsing cos Hugh Jackman has no shirt on. This movie is fucking lame.

Song: Words of Wisdom, by Jump Little Children. Git it!
Book: The Time Traveler’s Wife, by A. Niffenger. Reading it at the moment, its FAB.
Movie: Closer. Been watching it non stop lately. Sex! and confrontations about sex! Alice!
Place to hang: Your backyard.
Person: Joel.

Just to showcase my brother's talent in action photography.
(And, lets face it, just how foxy my hair is.)

Kids, I'm ALIVE! Sorry I've neglected all this but I've been busy and, you know, pretty damn lazy. You know, know, know, no, you don't - probably not necessary to shove a random Killers lyric in there but whatever. So! I've been okay. Uni has FINISHED and my folio is also FINISHED and I have NO exams so my life without all this school bullshit is pretty sweet. I'm guessing I did ok in my folio because I got into my first preference in my major choices for next year- Printmedia. Hey, I don't really know anything about it apart from etching but hopefully it all goes ok. If not ... well, I'll just have to be bitter and crap like that. Still really have no idea where this course is heading for me, and I'm not really sure how I'm going to re-enroll before the 6th (DAMNIT!) but that's ... cool.
...Who cares! HOLIDAYS!

Yes, well, my last entry was more depressing then joyous. Really bad news has struck my family and everything is awful but it's slowly getting better. Umm, I don't really know what else I can say without going into detail. Things have been hard, but now I've been able to rest and focus, and I adore my friends so much - tolerating me and such. & I love J more than anything in this universe. Really.

Ok! Other things! I ... have been working a LOT because I HAVE A LOT OF EXPENSES. Most of them are FOOD. Seriously! I was looking at my statement online and my god it's all just food! I also have to pay for my phone bill, my laptop rent, and $100 gets taken out every fortnight and put into a savings account that I cannot touch. And then the rest is just wasted on clothes, really. AND THEN FOOD. My mum thought it was hilarious. She also thought it was hilarious when I was suddenly approved for a CREDIT CARD. And still thought it was hilarious when this shiny, sexy little thing came in the mail. Gorgeous PURPLE credit card. Probably the hottest thing ever. I guess it was a bad idea getting it, hey. I really only got it because I always buy concert tickets online, as well as tickets in advance to movies and shizz, and I sort of hated bringing my mum all the way to random places to just sign stuff, as I always used her credit card. So it will mainly be used for that. And, you know, I've been looking at this certain Rilo Kiley shirt for a while and I WANT IT.

Today was a really beautiful day. Thankfully, work didn't call me in so I went into the city, met up with J, bought perfume, and then went back to his house for lunch (SUSHI!!!!). And we fell asleep.

Ok so I'm not really achieving anything by staring at that last sentence. So, all I'm going to say is: Hopefully I will be LEGALLY driving before the end of this month, and that I CANNOT STOP LISTENING TO Peaches and Uffie. Goodness. So filthy and hot and electro. Shake yer dix. ....and new default pic because of this.

...and i just downloaded a GIRLS ALOUD megamix and it is GOLD.

By the way, good friendz, I've sort of had a mad love affair with MYSPACE, so, ya know, if you want to hook up with my good self, I'm THERE ALL THE TIME. myspace.com/dottedblouse. tom is my secret lover.

    <lj:music>end of fashion - she's love</lj:music>

Oh baby, a few more days of holidays. Then +3 weeks of uni and then, SUMMER HOLIDAYS. SCHOOLS OUT, THANK GOD. This year has been so weird and random. Settling into uni was such a bitch but now it's pretty lovely, however, I'm really quite sick of this city (for now) and just about everything so I decided that I'm going to go on proper holidays in January. Everyone (EVEN YOU!) is most welcome, but even if I go by myself it will be good. Thinking about going to Canberra (I KNOW, OF ALL PLACES) for a roadtrip, just to see the National Gallery of Australia. Or, even more exciting, Tasmania, just to go voyaging on the seven seas again. I have no plans of going anywhere further than the boundaries of Australia, because, you know, I'm poor and constantly paying off all these ridiculous things with my little job. IN A BOOKSTORE. THAT IS SO HOT. Also want to take my friend up to Townsville so she can go diving, because she is suddenly a hardcore diver, which is both random and rad.

So my birthday marked the start of the holidays. Yeah, awesome. Only, I had this banger of an essay due and it sucked so bad. I finished it at like 4am because I was all "its my birthday! don’t need to do this shit!". But I finished it. And it sucked. Didn't care! Just need to pass because the idea of me doing honours in this shit is fucked out the window! So I handed it in at 11am and thought that it would be a good day. It wasn't. My birthday sucked pretty hardcore. Only good thing was seeing my two best friends and probably eating ice cream cake late at night with my brother while doing that lame Australia Quiz that was in the newspaper. Oh, and staying up and watching s1 of Scrubs that the lovely J gave me. Oh, and my mum bought me flowers. I had work that night (wasn't supposed to work, but I was called in, long story) and I looked liked hell because I was crying. God, awful.

Anyway, Saturday night was better. J came over to cheer me up and it was really sweet. He took me out to dinner and just awwwwwwwww. Sunday I worked worked worked, tired but in a better mood. Spoke to my twin, who also had a horrible birthday on the Friday, as she was sick and throwing up everywhere. Awesome. 19, turning out to be just a spectacular age to be!

Also, on Sunday I saw Ben Folds with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra as a gift from my mum! I took J with me to Hamer Hall (@ the Arts Centre) and we SAW BEN FOLDS. God, he's awesome. Loved it to bits. I was supposed to go on Saturday night but I ... didn't... so I bought tickets for Sunday. Super expensive, but worth every bit. Gracie ♥ STEVEN'S LAST NIGHT IN TOWN ♥!!!!! Seriously wanted him to sing 'Song for the Dumped' but, you know.

Anyway, it's been a while since I pic spammed you all so:

Look at all my stylish sunglasses. $2 each, from bubblee when we spent some quality time at this AWESOME discount place in the city. Aren't they hot? She insisted that I have all the colours, one for everyday, except Friday, Saturday, Sunday... but one for all my moods. Today I wore yellow. It was hot.

THE CASE SHE ALSO BOUGHT ME, $2. BEST. EVER. EVAH.

A gorgeous necklace from my best friend, Farial (this hottie is on here somewhere...). That is the pendant from it. Gorgeous!!!

Yeah.... bought myself a new iPod.
TURK TURKLETON is his name. Sexularrr.

Yeah, so remember Vincent, my dashing iBook? He's pretty fucked. Fucked since last month. Weird lines on the screen that won't go away. Get worse as you open more windows. Took to Apple Repair Dude at Designwyse and he said "Yeah, it's fucked, but more specifically, it's the Logic Board and graphics card which has stuffed up and it, well, are you sure you didn't buy the extended warranty? No? Well, that’s a problem, it will cost $1,297 to repair.... you can call apple and yell at them". $1,297 OH GOD GOD GOD GOD. And of course the warranty expired about 3 months before this drama-rama happened. JEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZ. So, decided to give it a 'fuck you!' and got myself a new laptop.

...Ok, so I didn't buy it. I'm renting it. Linked the rent payments (weekly) up to my account so I am personally paying for it, but my dad did shout me the first month. Because he's nice. And one look at my distraught face just kills him. :( So, meet THE TODD, or, Todd Dudemeister, which from German, translates to 'Todd, Master of the Dudes'. I'm on a Scrubs roll, baby. Oh, sexualness: HP Pavilion dv2040TX, 14" and really shiny.

It has a really radical webcam so I am broadcasting live! ... on msn. and mainly to my friend Joel and bubblee, but LIVE! nonetheless.
FARKINGNDFJKGHSJDHS. I have so much work to do. SO MUCH. and yet, I am able to relax, put my feet up and write a glorious entry which will indeed be very pointless and lame. A few mintues ago I just deleted my account to yahoo!groups because, well, the HP fandom is dead to me and my hotmail inbox is just full of all this bullshit that I couldn't care less about, damnit!

Oh goodness, I have so much work to do. I haven't written A WORD of this 1800 word art history essay that is due ON MY BIRTHDAY, ie, this friday, I really should get on with this crappy piece of 'sculpture' that has been shitting me for 3 weeks, and I need to do a stupid research assignment (due tomorrow) on some artist who as inspired me or whatever with this sculpture. Damien Hirst is my man. I skipped the art history lecture today at 1 to do work, and yet, I still manage to have lots and lots to do. Uncool. I'm such a slacker. Should have stopped watching crappy daytime tv (BUT KANYE WAS ON OPRAH!) and put down that disgusting, day old, Krispy Kreme doughnut. Damnit!

Tomorrow is my 10 month anniversary with J and also International Talk Like a Pirate Day. Many things to celebrate. Oooh, last Wednesday I saw 48 Shades with J at the Half Pipe. 48 Shades of Brown (by nick earls) is J's favourite book and before we saw it, he made me read it. Eh.... not too bad. Same goes for the movie. Richard Wilson is just INCREDIBLY GORGEOUS, dude, did anyone watch Out There on the abc when it was on? wilson = MILLER MCKEE = LOVE. and Emma Lung is just ... oh my god, stunner. But the movie was ok. That party sequence just fucking dragged, DID IT NOT? Another great thing was The Half Pipe @ hoyts. BEAN BAGS!!

I can't wait for spring to finally be ... spring. Enough of this gloomy weather nonsense. Gloomy weather + heat = no sun, overcast, unnappy bianca. I bought a Postal Service tshirt the other day. I bought a mens size small because there were no womens sizes, uncool. It fits quite well, it's just ... really long. And I figured ordering band shirts online from THE STATES is cheaper than doing the same from AUSTRALIA. WHY IS THIS. Sufjan Stevens shirt = AU$26.90 (incl. postage)... The Grates shirt = AU$45.70 (incl. postage). whyeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Right, good talk! I TURN 19 ON FRIDAY (22ND). I AM OLD. OLLLLD.

Uhhhhhhhhhhh ... so I'm pretty much just sitting here, wasting time and kind of over-doing it on the Damien Hirst research because I now know more about him than anything else at the moment. So much that it's pushed all this other stuff out of my brain. brainz. I'm currently in my sculpture class, which I was an hour and 10 minustes late to, but because I was wasting time up in the studio, I decided to waste time somewhere else. Pretty exciting. And I guess the only reason why I am updating is so I can use the location thing at the bottom of this entry, and it would quite excitingly read 'Monash Caulfield' and NOT 'home' or 'room'.

So Damien Hirst is pretty controversial, ey? What a guy.

So not much has been happening. My weekend consisted of me working a whole lot, and I guess last night was exciting because I saw J for more than 10 minutes, oh, and msn messenger was screwed up. Saturday was fun. Got to dress up as a fairy for our fairy day at work - we were celebrating the fabulousness of the Rainbow Magic fairies, who I did not know actually existed until a few weeks ago. But I dressed up as a fairy and got to, like, face paint! And J came! He came for a whole of 10 mintues, but after the whole fairy-ness. He was all sly and snuck up on me. Turns out he was there half an hour before I saw him, but I was on lunchbreak and because he was so sly he didn't want to call. His loss, ahahha.

Back to work! People in this place have just hilarious ringtones. And I always get all paranoid about people looking at what webpage I am on. They will sooner or later find out my geekery on LJ and myspaceness. OH, MYSPACE.

Peace out, playah. Still don't know what to do but ooooooooookay. OH MAN THIS HOT GUY JUST SAT ACROSS FROM ME. He has hair like Dean from Australian Idol (OH, YOU BET I WATCH THAT SHIT). Teddy Geiiiiiiiger, geiger, geiger.

    <lj:music>the velvet underground - after hours.</lj:music>

Unhhhhhhhhh... wasting time, wasting time, wasting time, wasting wine and wasting time. I have a 1,400 word essay due tomorrow and I've written 739 words in only 2 paragraphs. Cut down on content, WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT?

TODAY WAS A GOOD DAY. Catching up with old buddies and leading the way to st. jays - st. jeromes. Fantastic. And yes, people there are still beautiful! Fantastic. It was also one of my uni friend's 19th birthday. I had a lecture with her, but I totally missed her as I came in late and left early. Uncool.

YESTERDAY WAS A BAD DAY. It was raining and horrible and I walked through the biggest motherfucking puddle and got my chucks and socks and feet wet. I could have gone the long way and walked all around the bloody campus to avoid it, but I was already 15 minutes late. Uncomfortable. I was late for my lecture and 5 minutes after I sat down, the fire alarm started ringing because some wanker was probaby smoking in the fucking dark room. Asshole. So we evacuated, wet feet and all. Stood out in the rain for half an hour, then ventured to the campus pub, thought we could go back to the lecture, but we couldn't because fireman-man said no. So we wasted 4 hours in the library and KFC. Ughh. Then, by the time I got to my tute, I was so tired (having stayed up until 3am doing some god awful assignment) and I couldn't even mock my tutor's ridiculous outfit that consisted of these mega-renaissance style sleeves that were just billowing like I've never seen anything billow before. Goodness. Then, I got home and was feeling particularly UN-LOVED because no one would answer my text messages and J didn't even call. SO I CALLED HIM. Went on and on about his mother having a cold so he was just sooooooo busy doing housework. UNIMPRESSED. Like come on, all you have to do is cook something and wash up, does that really take you all night, mister. BAD DAY.

I should probably get back to this essay. It's not kicking much ass at the moment. It's due before 5pm tomorrow but I have a tutorial at 10am and I really don't want to have to make many journeys back and forth to uni.

WHY HAVEN'T I BEEN PAID YET? Want to buy a new moleskine and put away $100 towards a ... house?

Oh baby, I want to watch Snakes on a Plane. <lj:music>PHOENIX! - consolation prizes</lj:music>

Hello chaps, what’s been shakin'?

At the moment I am watching both the weirdest and lamest movie. No idea what it's called, but it has Jennifer Love Hewitt so, yes, it was pretty doomed from the beginning.

My weekend has been wicked hot. I've managed to work 4 days in a row so lots of cha-ching $$$ for me, SCORE.
Thursday: 3-9pm
Friday: 9-5pm
Saturday:9-5pm Workin' 9 to 5....
Sunday:12-5pm.
Awesome. This is Dymocks, by the way. I really do quite love it there. Everyone is so rad and I am just surrounded by beautiful, beautiful books. I am the OFFICIAL manager of the children's book section because I am just the greatest person ever. I know more about Maisy and The Wiggles than anyone else in the store, I'm so skilled. Today this kid was reading to me sections from the book based on 'Ripley's Believe it or Not'while I was re-doing all the picture books.
On Saturday, I was mainly on the register and helping out customers find books. This totally emo dude bought a book on Karma Sutra, which just gave me disturbing mental images. Then I helped out this OMGZZOTOTALLYDREAMY guy find a book on the making of Pirates of the Caribbean. He was incredibly cute and was all, "So, I work at Sanity. Come on down and see me if you want to, like, get discounts on something?"
and I'm all, "Do you guys still have all the seasons of Scrubs for sale?"
DUDE: "Yep, whoa, I love Scrubs. Do you want me to reserve them for you? I really can, you know, just come in on Thursday night or the weekend, when I'm working."
ME:"Err, you don't have to..."
DUDE:"I really will" *looks at my name badge* "So your name's Bianca. That's great. I'll put them on reserve!"
ME:"Ok, man!"
Yes, I say 'man' a lot. In real life too, man!!
In the end I couldn't find the book he wanted, but awesome man! Cute boys! Talk about spectacular!

Oh, and one of the girls I work with (who is my favourite!) is my TWIN. Born on the same day, same month, same year, but in Europe at 12pm. I was born here at 7pm and there's like a 7 HOUR DIFFERENCE... SO, FREAKY....! Twinzz!

I'm going to start a proper savings account and SAVE. And then get a credit card so I can buy shit online and off ebay. EXCITED!!! Don't know how this whole 'savings' thing can work but ahahahahaha ok!!

After work on Friday, I went clubbing with my friends for another friend's 19th. It was ok. We went to this place called 'The Love Machine' (I KNOW, LOL.) And I danced and drank and smoked. And insulted everyone ever with my friend Andrea, it was rad. J came and that was really awesome of him. Got back to friend's place at 5, got to sleep at 6, had an hour sleep, got ready for work and went! Was strangely psyched up all day, however.

I have not done ANY uni work. I'm pretty behind, I think. Uncool. Don't really care, though! THIS ISN'T GOOD!

bubblee I HAVE NOT SEEN YOU IN YEARS. YEARS, GIRLFRIEND. I WOULD SAY LETS CATCH UP TOMORROW, BUT I'VE GOT A LIBRARY DATE WITH JOEL. HOW ABOUT THURSDAY, BUMFACE?

Pretttty annoyed at the moment. Annoyed like a fox. Annoyed at my laziness and lack of good sentences to form into a decent paragraph, which would form a decent essay thing of 700 words.

Current word count: 74.
(includes title, essay question, and name/medium of artwork I am analysing.)
Like a fox, people.

I got home at 3 today from uni and on the train I was all "YEAH, I'M GONNA DO THIS ESSAY AND KICK IT'S ASS" and then on the way home I went to the milkbar and bought a mint-choc-chip ice-cream (I was totally smelling this ice cream flavour in my tutorial for some weird reason) and a packet of skittles and still I was all "YEAH FUCKERS GONNA DO THIS"and then I got home and watched my new dvd of s3 of Scrubs. Good plan. That killed a few hours, but I was still going "YEAH...!! LETS OPEN THIS BOOK!!" but then I fell asleep. And now, after watching lots of TV, talking on the phone about wooden mannequins, trying on several outfits, and losing my bid on this killer bag on eBay, I have finally started. It's almost midnight, people.

LIKE A FOX.

I've really got to do this, I think! I start work (dymocks!) tomorrow night and this banger is due on Friday. I guess it's ok that it's due anytime before 5pm, but I'm planning to go out to coffee with the divine Miss M after my morning tute.

Score! I got a free subscription to Cosmo magazine and I got 2 free tickets to that Da Vinci Machines show! Excitement. Must go to that. Also, I really want to go shopping. Just a random urge to buy shit.

Things I want to buy:
x. Polaroid film.
x. TSUBI jeans. droolage.
x. A trashy, romantic novel which doesnt have an embarassing cover that will cause a mass mock-age of Bianca on the train.
x. MORE TSHIRTS. NICE ONES.
x. New shoes. Flats, what else!
x. Footless tights. Grey ones.
x. A nice dress.
x. A bag. Like the one I lost on eBay, but better. The one I lost was this tweed one which was Paul Frank, but didn't look like Paul Frank - sooo it wasn't PVC or had Julian on it. My first bid was AU$11.50 and it went up to AU$45.00 (plus $5 for postage) and the retail price is AU$54.00. LAME.
x. NEW IPOD. :(. black, 20gb, pretty and shiny!! Sick of my bro's old shuffle.
x. Some artsy blingage.
x. Lessons on how to CAST OFF in knitting.
x. Tickets to THE GRATES show in October!! Yippeeee.

So back to this essay, eyy...
OK Go - Here it Goes Again!!!

Is that not the BEST VIDEOCLIP YOU HAVE EVER SEEN IN YOUR LIFE? If I could move like those guys (see also: their 'A Million Ways...' clip) I'd die a happy girl.

Sooo... I quit my job today. Tomorrow is my last shift at the Gift Store and then on Thursday I start at Dymocks, which is just super duper, mates. I get a uniform and a name badge and get to meet MERV HUGHES on my second day or so because he's doing a book signing. Oh, it's all happening man.
After I quity-mc-quit-quit, I headed into the NGV for the second time this week, because I realised only a few days ago that an essay was due on Friday. Huhuh. So there I was, analysing this painting. I looked super special because I borrowed one of those fold-out chairs from the info desk. I was writing away when I realised someone was standing behind me - another student, I've seen her around and she's very quiet. Anyway, she was analysing the SAME PAINTING. Me = annoyed! Now, really! I mean, I don't mind finding out afterwards that half the class analysed the same painting as me, but to see that someone is doing it right then and there while you are = irritating to the max. And she'll probably do a better job, damn those quiet international students who are aces at everything ever. Grrr. Anyway, afterwards, I met up with J and we had lunch, which was SO AWESOME. Yummmmo. bubblee, next time we go to the Blue Train, you HAVE TO TRY THE LAMB CURRY. It is divineeeeeeee. We then went shopping around all the places I frequent and I managed to buy a novel form Borders: Everything is Illuminated by J Safran-Foer, and this cute necklace. OH MY GOODNESS, I saw this BANGIN dress at Marc Jacobs. It's from last season and was reduced to AU$99.00 and I was seriously considering buying it but dfnjkdahdgndfhfgj come on. Layby??? ON SALE ITEMS? IN MARC JACOBS. AHAHHAHAHHRHSGHDFG.

On Thursday of this week myself and the lovely bubblee caught up and we watched this absolutely stunningly moving and complex movie called

HOW UN-STUNNINGLY MOVING. Oh my god, what was that shit I watched, seriously, OH MY GOODNESS. Incredibly bad and just confusing. It makes NO SENSE at the end AT ALL and oh dear god. Keanu Reeves is hysterically awkward. He is Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure and NOTHING ELSE. Together, Keanu and Sandra will always rock to the badcore in SPEED and nothing else. EVER.

FOR ALL THOSE WHO'VE UNFORTUNATELY SEEN THIS TRASH: If Alex never died, then Kate's smokin' hot boss attendant would have never told her to go to the lake house, right??? RIGHT? And then all this business would have never happened ever!

And, and! How uncomfortable were you during thier kiss at the end? OH MAN.

Thumbs down!!

On Wednesday of this week I managed to drag my lazy self to the NGV and I saw the HUUUGE Picasso Exhibit at night, which was quite interesting. Dora Maar is an absolut stnna and her photographs are really beautiful. I seem to have been more interested in her photographs than Picasso's works which I have seen over and over and over and over. Maar is quite a champion in documenting 'Guernica'. THANK HER LATER. The NGV then had all this French music and stuff going on, mmmm, hype. I took J along with me and he is such a cutie.

Oh GOD, I went home today at about 9pm and I had to make my way through Flinders St Station. Did the emos multiply or something during the past few months? Uncool!

Panic! At the Disco are stuck in mky head. Uncool again! I chime in with a 'haven’t you people ever hearrrrd of closing the goddamn door! no!'. The lead singer dude is fug.

I end with this. Press play and it will change your life. OH MY GOD.
I saw The Strokes on Sunday night. I was mosh-ing it up. I'm pretty short and I think I managed to see the entire band, ie, not just Jules or Albert, for a grand total of 15 minutes, but that didn't stop me dancing like a spaz to their whole set!!! It was hilarious because I only bought tickets on Friday night for it, after much peer pressure from my friend. Kind of lost him in the crowd after the first two songs. They opened with 'juicebox', JUICY JUICE. and Heart in A Cage and Is this It and New York City Cops and Ask me Anything and You Only Live Once were in there somewhere. Oh man, they came back with a cover of LOU FUCKING REED. WALK ON THE WILD SIDE. Ecstatic yo!! Man, the mosh was pretty crazy! Couldn't breathe, getting bashed around, people trying to defend my honour!, random dances with gorgeous girls in the crowd, awesome. I somehow got to the front barrier on the far right and that was WICKED. Jules IS JUST SO BEAUTIFUL. Everyone in this band (and at the concert) is ridiculously attractive! Jesus! At the end, my cardigan was all stretched out and i think several people saw my lovely ass because of my short dress. I smelt like beer and sweat and weed in the end, and my friend (Joel) said that it was HOT. I think so too, mmmm, a mixture of grossness to make up and aroma of something vomit-related.

Joel and his friend drove me home, me in the back seat trying to shout directions over loud pumpings of The Kooks and The Libs on the way home. We stopped over at McDonalds for THE GREATEST AND CLASSIEST dinner ever. We were the last car in the drive-thru and then we ate in the car park, getting high in back seats of cars, as to quote Spoon.

Awesomeeeeee. And I eventually got home, couldn't sleep, and I had my Hazard Perception Test today, Pt 1 for my License. I passed, despite my tired and ughh state! The passing grade is 54% and I got 74%. GO BIANCA!!
